Recordkeeping Principles Survey

The Rights in Records by Design project is investigating the design of participatory rights-based recordkeeping systems. We aim to develop a conceptual model of Lifelong Living Archives for Childhood Out-of-Home Care better able to meet lifelong identity, memory and accountability needs.

As part of this research, we are conducting a survey to capture the views of recordkeeping and other professionals in the out-of-home Care sector on capacities to implement

We would like to understand how these principles are being applied throughout the sector, any barriers to their adoption, and other issues that surface in their implementation.

We also plan to repeat this survey on an annual basis to track views on how capacities to implement these principles improve over time.

We invite all those working with records and archives in any out-of-home Care context to take part.

Participation involves voluntarily completing an online survey, reflecting on the capacity in your context to implement these principles.

We are seeking thoughtful responses based on your individual experience as a recordkeeping or other professional working with records in any out-of-home Care context, rather than formal organisational responses, so the survey is anonymous.

The survey should take 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.

Here is an overview of the survey to help you prepare for completing it.

You do not have to finish the survey in one go. You can pause and return at a later time (provided you are using the same browser and computer).
